A lonely attic...

This photo shows a young girl,  like Anne Frank, who is writing in her diary. She is in a very small and dark place. Next to her there is a candle. The candle represents darkness, because a candle is used only in a dark place. The book and the pen represents silence because when you read or write something you are quiet and relaxed. The clothes are very important, them represent the moment. This photo was taken in my house and it remeber me Anne Frank because you can´t see this place at simple view. It is like a secret door on the roof. The final detail is the dirty and old floor and walls.

My Mum´s Diary

Anne Frank Proyect:

In this photo you can see a diary; it is from my mum, the girl who is in the photo. In my opinion this diary is very similar to the Anne Frank’s diary, but it has some difference too. In both of them the girls who wrote about their feelings, their thought and they relation whit other peoples like the family or friends is a girl of 13 years old. Also both of them tell a brief of their life. However, Anne only could write about her relation whit lesser people than my mum because she only could have relations with 6 people, the people who lived with her in the annex. Whereas, Anne wrote more about people who are Jewish or about the Holocaust and my mum didn’t. And obviously the diary of Anne is more famous than my mum’s one.

Music is my life

Oh Yeah! I´m allowed to say you that we have made a MixPod! And now we´ve got music at the blog! You might be listening to it right now.
For first we chose a group that is called Boyce Avenue. They play covers, and they are really great! Sometimes they meet another singer and they make songs together. There are songs of ColdPlay, P!nk, Glee, Bruno Mars and that sort of groups. We´ll download more songs for another preferences then.

So... just enjoy it! And have a good time here!

We are working for you :)

"The Hall of the Equalities"

  •   This is "The Hall of the Equialities". The photo represent a kind of museum in which there are written the "objetives" of the Germans at the Second World War. As you can see,  in an ironic way, it is placed at a rich and nice hall. And at the end of the corridor it is written "Jews Killing", because that murders will never dissapear from their nation´s history, or from the hold world´s history. Some phrases, like "Better World", or "New Life" are highlighted because it´s devastating to think that the Nazis told people they were going to make a "Better World" while they were killing lots of: Jews, black people, Jehova´s Witnesses and homosexuals.

  • Now I´ll explain the relation between the name and the photo:
When the Nazis said "we´ll give you a new and better life", "we´ll success" or "we´ll control the world" they ommited saying "we´ll make a better world killing" or " we´ll control the hold planet killing". In fact, when they said a "Better World", they were saying "Jews Killing"

Carolina Clavero - Pavlova and Verushka

Pavlova
Introduction
The aim of this report is to contrast two persons from the past. Both are related to the art. One belongs to dance, Anna Pavlova, and the other one is connected to fashion, Verushka.

Describing the events
Anna Pavlova was a woman who lived in the 19th century. She was a dancer who changed the ballerina’s ideal. In those times, dancers had to be strong with a muscular body. And Pavlova was the totally opposite because she was thin, delicate and ethereal. In the other hand, Verushka was a fashion model who lived in the 20th century. She invented her name and she created a mysterious character so that she revolutionized the fashion world. Because of this she became one of the first super models.

Verushka
Establishing the comparison
In order to compare both people, I will choose a song that it called “Change”by Taylor Swift. It will express that people don’t have to live always the same. It says that we can change our life and we can make revolutions, such as Pavlova and Verushka did.

Conclusion
To sum up, Anna Pavlova and Verushka are really connected. Although both of them were from different disciplines, they changed their areas in good ways. And they teach us the enormous changes that we can do.

María Eugenia Russo - Imagine

Imagine:  One of the most creator songs ever created by one of the worlds great musicains / peace activists .This song has stood the test of time and is an anthem for peace .

"Give Peace a Chance" is a 1969 single by (John Lennon's) Plastic Ono Band that became an anthem of the American anti-war movement at that time. A different song with the same name, written by Lennon.

Nowadays a lot of companys mistreat the miners, wich make them work in poor conditions.

COMPARISION

To compare, i will choose some songs. These explain in detail the current situation of the slaves.

In conclusion the mistreat by Napoleon to the slaves and the mistreat from the miners are connected.Undoubtedly this one is a topic to think and to resolve.

Similar Nuclear Accidents - Ignacio Sola

Fukushima

Introduction
This project shows a comparison from two events. One is from de present and one is from the past. I chose the nuclear accident in Fukushima, Japan, this one is from the present. The other one is the nuclear accident in Chernobyl, Russia, this one is from the past.

Accident in Fukushima
The first one happened in March from this year. One of the reactors exploded because of an earthquake, releasing radiation. After this the police said that the city was in nuclear emergency and the people have to leave quickly.

Accident in Chernobyl
The second one happened in April from 1986.During a test the reactor 4 exploded and caused an enormous accident. It was the biggest nuclear accident, releasing nuclear and toxic materials. There were 116 000 people evacuated.

Establishing a comparison
To compare this events, I will choose some pictures or videos from the internet. Them will explain how was the people and how was the accident .

Conclusion
In conclusion, these events are so similar because both of them did a giant problem in their counties. However, these accidents happend differently, the one in Fukushima happens because of environmental problem and the one in Chernobyl happens because of a problem with a reactor.
