Icons of equality and respect

Mandela and Gandhi, two important figures in history who made ​​their country better for everyone.

 Mandela and Gandhi were two very important figures. These two men gave another meaning to freedom, hope and respect. Everyone should know who were these figures and they did for their country.

 

Although Mandela and Gandhi were two very important figures for their country and are global figures, there are many people, especially young people who are not aware of his great achievements for the community.

Gandhi

Mahatma Ghandi was born in India. There he fought against the goverment for the right of the  indians. He did caimpaings, hunger strikes, protests. Also walked from town to town barefoot trying to stop the massacres. So Ghandi became the revolutionary in the world.

Mandela

Nelson Mandela was very important too. He was born in Africa and wanted the equality for the black race. He was a politician and fought for the right of the blacks. Mandela respect Gandhi and followed his example of Not Violence.

    However Mandela was imprisioned during 27 years. After it grant the president's control to him and won the prize of the peace.

Opinion:

In our time, the respect for the other person is lost. The importance and the rights of others no longer apply. We are sunken in egocentria.
However there are people who follow the example of these great revolutionaries and believe in other lives.
